A teenager has died after a crash between a motorbike and a car in Co Donegal.
The incident happened on the Railway Road at Killygordon at around 2pm on Friday.
The motorcyclist, a man in his late teens, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was brought to Letterkenny University Hospital where a post mortem will take place.
Nobody else was injured in the incident.
Officers have closed the road and confirmed it will stay shut overnight with local diversions in place.
Members of the Forensic Collision Investigators team will attend the scene.
Gardai are now appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
A garda spokesman said: “Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a fatal road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle that occurred at approximately 2:00pm this afternoon Friday, 10th December, 2021, on Railway Road, Killygordon, Co. Donegal.
“Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact them. Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
